Since 1987, Dr. Gelenberg has been Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry. Dr. Gelenberg served on the faculty of Harvard Medical School, MIT, Penn State Hershey Medical Center and the University of Arizona. He chaired the American Psychiatric Association’s work group to revise the association’s major depressive disorder guidelines. He’s written numerous scientific articles and book chapters on mood disorders, depression, and schizophrenia. He is listed in the Best Doctors in America and America’s Top Doctors and received the 1997 Exemplary Psychiatrist Award of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill.
